Built in 1972 and located on Nyali Beach, this large hotel has 146 guest rooms, very few of which have been renovated, while others are in need of updating and maintenance. Amenities include air conditioning, satellite television, safety deposit box, double or twin beds, private terrace or balcony, telephone, mosquito netting and private bathroom, and Wi-Fi is available in your guest room for an additional fee. The smallest rooms are the Garden View Rooms and only the slightly larger Deluxe Sea View Rooms have been refurbished. The largest rooms, Deluxe Family Sea View Rooms, are quite dated and in need of upkeeps.
The popularity of the hotel with seaside travelers in Kenya affects service quality at times and the facilities tend to be crowded, especially the large swimming pool that faces the ocean.
