Each room has air-conditioning, rain showers, toilet, bidet, telephone, fully stocked mini bar, Satellite TV and balcony or terrace. Mosquito nets are available on request. The Chui Class Cottages have twin rain showers and private gardens/patios. All rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable.
All Suites come with DVD players and a selection of discs for viewing. The living rooms are spacious, and something to look forward to is the power-showers and jacuzzis. The Cottages have stunning views of the ocean and private gardens and patios. Guests have access to an extensive 24/7 room service and baby-sitting services on request.

Restaurants
The resort offers a diverse range of wining and dining options including a Chaine des Rotisseurs grill room, a stir-fry beach restaurant, a fresh pizza and pasta restaurant, a ‘nyamachoma’ (Kenyan barbecue) restaurant and a pool bistro.
Start your day with a buffet spread which consists of a wide range of tropical fresh fruit juices, your eggs prepared in your desired preference, coffee, tea, cereals and pastries.
The guests on Half or Full board have the option to have their meals at three different venues – a buffet at the Horizon Restaurant, al-fresco dining on Coco Beach or traditional African dishes, evening entertainment and splendid ocean views at Nyama Choma.
Three table-d’hôte venues are rotated throughout the week: a buffet or set-menu in the Other guests pick from their award winning and romantic Chui Grill which overlooks the lily ponds, light meals at Coco Mchana and Italian food at Pizza n’ Pasta Tornati. The Pool Bistro and Bar offers light meals, snacks, fresh seafood and a large, mouth-watering selection of ice creams. Early meals are prepared at all restaurants for children.
There are three bars at the resort. Breezy, tropical Mario’s looks like the inside of an expensive sailing yacht with warm tropical wood furniture and accents and brass rivets, designed by local resident and boat-builder Mario Scianna.
Built in a similar nautical style to resemble a schooner, the second bar Marco’s is sited on a coral cliff overlooking the pool and ocean with sails providing shade as guests enjoy cocktails and tapas.
The third bar, the Mahogany Lounge, is the hub of nightlife at Leopard Beach Mombasa.

Your first impression is of cool, whitewashed walls and tiled floors. There are ceiling fans, potted palms, stately marble and wicker furniture. The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable and the ambience very Casablanca.
Nyali International Beach Hotel & Spa is a 173-room accommodation that meets the needs of the budget-conscious beach traveler in Kenya. Located approximately five miles from the heart of Mombasa Island (view map), the accommodation features colonial-style architecture and 165 simply-designed guest rooms, 5 suites and 3 villas. Amenities include satellite television, free internet, mini bar and personal safe. AfricanMecca guests may choose a garden or ocean view rooms, but garden view are in need of upgrading and maintenance. The more expensive ocean view rooms have been renovated, but your view of the beach may be partially shaded by palm trees should you choose some ocean-facing room on the upper floors.
Additionally, some rooms have two twin beds that are pushed together, and this arrangement may not be comfortable for budget couples on a romantic seaside holiday in Africa. Located in the Palm Wing of the hotel, the two-bedroom suites feature king size beds, private Jacuzzi and separate living and dining areas, and the villas have three bedrooms, and one of the bedrooms can be converted to a living area if needed. WiFi access is good in the guest rooms, but the air conditioning in some room may be choppy. The staff are friendly, but you may experience inconsistent service quality, especially if there are a large number of guests in the hotel.
Nyali Beach Hotel & Spa has five restaurants that serve adequate food in a variety of settings, but in some venues on low occupancy days, the menu changes little if any from day-to-day and you may tire of the food should you be staying at the hotel for an extended seashore tour in Mombasa.

Built in 1972 and located on Nyali Beach, this large hotel has 146 guest rooms, very few of which have been renovated, while others are in need of updating and maintenance. Amenities include air conditioning, satellite television, safety deposit box, double or twin beds, private terrace or balcony, telephone, mosquito netting and private bathroom, and Wi-Fi is available in your guest room for an additional fee. The smallest rooms are the Garden View Rooms and only the slightly larger Deluxe Sea View Rooms have been refurbished. The largest rooms, Deluxe Family Sea View Rooms, are quite dated and in need of upkeeps.
